Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023 (5th & 6th grade 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and 7th & 8th grade 7:15 p.m. 8:45 p.m.) and

Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023 (5th & 6th grade 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and 7th & 8th grade 7:15 p.m.-8:45 p.m.)

*Please plan to attend both days of try-outs. 4th graders can try-out for 5th grade team. All players will need to purchase new custom uniforms. Payment of $210 is due before first practice.

Registration must be completed online to try-out for the 2023-24 season.

UPDATE: UNIFORMS WILL NOT BE AT TRYOUTS-no need to have parents come in to size their son.

DO NOT ORDER UNIFORMS UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO VIA EMAIL.

Tryouts are closed to parents.







When Try-Outs are complete and your son makes a team, you can pay via Venmo. Please PUT YOUR SON’S NAME AND GRADE ON MEMO LINE. Payment of $210 is Due before first practice on Nov. 1, 2023.




Tryout Information


 
 

General Schedule & Expectations

Team’s play in weekend tournaments and possibly week-day games.

Practice two to four days per week.

Practice between 5:00-9:00pm.

Players are not guaranteed playing time but coaches are encouraged to play each participate in each contest.

 

 

Cost

 

Operations Cost: $210

The operations cost is due to Century Boys Basketball at the first practice. Payment is required to participate in the first practice of the season. The fee helps cover equipment needs, tournament cost, insurance and miscellaneous cost involved for the operation of the Youth Program. 

 

Additional Cost: Custom Uniform, Shooting Shirt & Practice Top

Uniform $110-120, Shooting shirt $35-40 with last name & Practice Top $25-30 + shipping. Order Deadline Oct. 20, 2023 . Order details will be given at the Parent Meeting.

 

 

FAQ

 

How many players make the team?
Teams consist of 9–11 players per grade. 

What if my child does not make the team?
Century Basketball partners with Hillsboro Youth Basketball for players not yet ready for or who choose not to play in the competitive league.

My son made the team last year. Will he have a spot on the team this year?
Each season players are re-evaluated and may not make a team even though they played the year before.

How can my son prepare for High School basketball?
There are no guarantees that you son will play high school basketball. For those who wish to pursue this goal it is very important for them to attend camps, clinics and play on teams year to year.
