2026-27 Rosters
Rosters with the players uniform number for the season will be TBD for the 2026-27 season. Parent meeting and practice will be TBD at Century High School Gym and Lecture Hall(N224). Payment of TBD is due that evening. Please have at least one parent in attendance.

Sunday, Oct. 18th, 2026 at Century High School (5th & 6th grade 5:30pm-7:00pm and 7th & 8th grade 7:30pm 9:00pm) and
Monday, Oct. 19th, 2026 (5th & 6th grade 5:30pm-7:00pm at Brown Middle School. 7th & 8th grade 7:30pm-9:00pm at Century High School
*Please plan to attend both days of try-outs. 4th graders can try-out for 5th grade team.
** Payment to participate will be due at Parent Meeting. All players will need to purchase a game uniform, shooting shirt and practice top through gearUP - more information coming.

Registration must be completed online to tryout for the 2026-27 season.

Tryouts are closed to parents.
When tryouts are complete and your son makes a team, you can pay via Venmo, check, cash, or credit card. Please PUT YOUR SON’S NAME AND GRADE ON MEMO LINE. Payment for Operation Cost $TBD is Due Oct. TBD at Parent Meeting.
Tryout Information
General Schedule & Expectations
Team’s play in weekend tournaments and possibly week-day games.
Practice two to four days per week.
Practice between 5:00-9:00pm.
Players are not guaranteed playing time but coaches are encouraged to play each participant in each contest.
Cost
Operations Cost: $185 + Game Uniform Cost $TBD
The operations cost is due to Century Boys Basketball by Parent Meeting. Game Uniform cost to be purchased via gearUP. Payment is required to participate in the first practice of the season. The fee helps cover equipment needs, tournament cost, insurance and miscellaneous cost involved for the operation of the Youth Program.
Additional Cost: Shooting Shirt & Practice Top
Shooting shirt $35 with Last Name & Practice Top (This is not the uniform) $40 + shipping. Order Deadline TBD . Order details will be given at the Parent Meeting.
FAQ
How many players make the team?
Teams consist of 9–11 players per grade.
What if my child does not make the team?
Century Basketball partners with Hillsboro Youth Basketball for players not yet ready for or who choose not to play in the competitive league.
My son made the team last year. Will he have a spot on the team this year?
Each season players are re-evaluated and may not make a team even though they played the year before.
How can my son prepare for High School basketball?
There are no guarantees that you son will play high school basketball. For those who wish to pursue this goal it is very important for them to attend camps, clinics and play on teams year to year.
